Supra_Al Posted February 9, 2003 Share Posted February 9, 2003 ......does anyone elses J-spec LED 'steam' up?? Don't believe UK models have a working LED,just a blank. I've removed it a couple of times to dry it out, but still it steams up.Thing is you can not open it as it is glued together,and only has one airhole,so you can warm it up to rid the moisture,but it returns later.I have a 'cunning plan' so if anyone else has this annoying problem,i will let you know if it works.Al. peter richards Posted February 9, 2003 Share Posted February 9, 2003 al , ive spent all afternoon cleaning the car , first chance for ages . i cant say ive noticed the leds misting up , ill keep an eye on it now you have mentioned it . ive just sent off to fancy plates , should have them about tuesday . al how do you put the pics up ? Paul Posted February 10, 2003 Share Posted February 10, 2003 No, sorry AL, but as well as a host of other 'extras' , my UK spec came fitted with a working brake LED from new. I know this because my mate is the only other owner and I saw it hours after he got it, brand new on Aug 1st 1995. It had the LED on then, it hasn't been added at a later date. DArby Posted February 11, 2003 Share Posted February 11, 2003 I believe they fitted them as standard to UK 95+ You can seperate both halves - i opened my UK spec which had nothing in it to fit an LED strip.
