Jellybean
Any advice on setting up an ecom solution via word press; it seems very complex and I am in IT. I am trying to setup WP e-Commerce and Simple Cart (free Theme); http://www.chris-wallace.com/2009/07/17/simplecartjs-a-free-wp-e-commerce-thematic-child-theme/ I am using Godady as my provider, anybody recommend any other Plugin's or themes ; everytime I add WP e-Commerce it just hangs I tried zencart too, what a pain to configure; you would spend hours to setup something simple. I spent about 3 hours then bang corrupt, could not loinng, go daddy support said nothing to do with them ; gave up on that. Too volitile
Thorin
You're possibly running into PHP memory limitations, a lot of hosting providers have the memory limit set very low. I experienced something similar, once adding in a WP addon suddenly I couldn't login or do anything (admin dashboard was just blank). Ended up having to go into the MySQL database for the site and remove the plugins I'd just added. Of course it could be something else completely. The website is a .NEt Solution but Godaddy also give you Wordpress and ZenCart free as an addon ; might need to purchase a PHP seperate setup too
Thorin
Oh, if it's ASP.NET then possibly not then. Have you got any other wordpress addons active, you could try disabling all of those and just enabling simplecart?
