SupraStar 3000
Kinda makes anything that runs on wheels look tame. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=42loUhVI2Qw
ripped_fear
Wow great video. Those aircraft are something else, to be piloting one of those must feel spectacular.
Style
Really enjoyed that! Must've been interesting to film with some of the shots there.

Amazing amount of skill and trust too. How do you spin like that and know exactly where the other pilot is?

How do you spin like that and know exactly where the other pilot is? indeed there is, and I have no idea how they would do know, but i'm sure they must, I suppose after being trained to do such manoeuvres, and after enough practice you would learn how the machine responds. Swampy442
A beautifully shot film but must have cost an absolute fortune! When they do the spins theyre flying in formation, so each pilot knows where the other is. From my time on the Red Arrows Ive seen some footage that would make your eyes pop out lol

Sheefa
That's brilliant Ed. On the back of this I found one of James May in a U2 that I have posted - stunning. Check out the Red Flag exercise too.
SupraStar 3000
Nice U2 video Greg. I still can't believe they allowed him to fly in a such a unique aircraft. Also, makes it even more impressive that the Soviet Union managed to down one with a missile in the 1960s.

Mind you, the lighting is pretty much a rocket with wings. http://cdn-www.airliners.net/aviation-photos/middle/8/3/4/1186438.jpg
SupraStar 3000
Impressive! 2mins 45: is he flying with the canopy open? The footage is from a film called "Le Chevalier Du Ciel" so I guess thats the camera chase plane. Must feel a tad cold flying past mac1 with no cockpit though! Swampy442
The only reason I can think for that Mirage with no rear canopy is maybe its an ejection seat test bed? Martin Baker had/have an old Gloucester Meteor with the rear canopy missing.
