Decided to sell my second PS3 as it doesnt really get used that much. It is a launch 60GB model with backwards compatability for PS1/2 games and has 4 USB ports and memory card readers. It comes boxed (different region box) with white controller (L3 sticks abit), power lead, AV lead and USB charging cable.

It has afew games saved on the internal HDD (640GB) and I also own physical copies of all of these.

I will leave what is on the HDD but the physical copies are not included.

Pics are below, 'SupraGaz' is my HUKD's name hence the name in the pics as it will be going for sale on there in afew days after here.

As this console is on 3.41 firmware you can not go online. Pic of games added purely to show I own what is on the HDD.

Any questions etc just ask. £180 delivered and no offers thanks.

Some games have been removed since this pic but its mainly just to show the back up manager interface.

how does this work when it comes to buying new games, I'm a bit thick from a PS3 point of view. Do new games not insist on a specific firmware?

Is this capable of running OtherOS, or is the firmware newer than the one where Sony removed it?

Mike

You can upgrade to 3.55 CFW and from there run firmware spoofers for the latest and greatest games. OtherOS is also available, as is the removal of Cinavia.

Cheers for clarifying that Scott for Mike.

As an example, I've just had a blast on FIFA 12 on 3.41 CFW.

Re-iterate again though, you will not be able to go online or access the store. This is purely for offline purposes. (unless of course you update to official firmware, then its the same as any other console with a large HDD but lose the backup features, homebrew, FTP'ing, Multiman etc).

This firmware - 3.41 was after Sony removed otherOS but can now be put back on the machine at this FW level.
