ellis
Well, it was certainly mine! I thought the film Skyline had lowered the bar sufficiently that nobody could make a film that would come close to crawling under it. Incredibly this film limbos under that bar with feet to spare. For those that have seen it, you know what I mean. For those that haven't, I envy you!
ScottC
One to avoid then?

letmeshowyou
I saw quite a messed up film last night whilst babysitting, called Super. It's got Liv Tyler (the reason I decided to watch!) and Kevin Bacon. That's another to avoid!

Especially the que jumping bit

Ian C
I liked Darkest Hour. It was a good take on the alien invasion thang, had a few surprises in it, and a few clever things around the science (more so than most films of this ilk who are disasterous on ethe science front). Felt kind of good-cgi low-to-mid budget indy, like Monsters did. There was also an enjoyable lack of American GI's yee-harring their way into victory.
