Tricky-Ricky Posted January 17, 2012 Share Posted January 17, 2012 Just for anyone who wants to remove anodizing, this is from my old bike building days, when most anodizing was black and i wanted to mirror polish the alloy, i used a strong solution of caustic soda, you can paint it on with a nylon brush (real hair dissolves) or dip it but keep a close eye on it as it will eventually dissolve the alloy.
