Golf Clubs...Callaway...Odyssey...Titleist....Bags etc

£250

I am selling my Golf Gear, as I just never use it anymore and doubt I will ever get back into it enough to warrant holding on to them

I have a full set of clubs plus extras

3 to SW irons Callaway Steelhead X-14 Pro Series on Constant Weight Rifle Stiff Flex

Titleist Vokey 60 degree Lob Wedge

Odyssey 2 ball putter, regarded as one of the best Putters ever made

Callaway Big Bertha forged titanium ERC2 Driver 10 degree on a Callaway RCH Pro Series M60 Tour Stiff Shaft (this shaft was only available from Callaway America as a special order)

Adams Tight Lies 1 Metal Wood 10.5 degrees (basically a driver you can hit off the deck)

Adams Tight Lies 4 Metal Wood 16 degree Strong

All clubs are in excellent used condtion and all with original grips also in great condition

They all live in a Power Caddy Trolley bag and I also have a Winter stand bag

This all rolls on a Powerkaddy 2 fold trolley (not electric)

Loads of balls tee's etc etc and I think I have a Travel bag somewhere, which I will also include if I can find it

These clubs saw me go down to 11 handicap and served me very well until I hurt my back.

I am a big guy with a very aggressive, powerful swing hence the Tour Stiff shaft on my Driver, I could regularly hit over 300 yards with it and the Par 4 slightly up hill at Torquay of 310 yards Green was a regular landing area for my Drive lol:D

As for price I am really unsure what to put them up for so I think £250 collection only or possibly deliver for the cost of the Diesel, based on 40mpg return trip to Exmouth Devon

£250

Any questions etc, please ask on the thread, as I have a few things for sale to raise cash for the Dragonball

I am selling lots of stuff to raise cash for the Dragonball, please look at my other threads

I have the exact same setup even the bag lol, great clubs and good price.

That's a bit freaky

I found them to be the perfect set after wasting a lot of money on trying out different clubs over about 15 years

I think the price is set about right, there's certainly a lot of money worth of gear if you were to buy it new

Problem is trying to find someone that wants to upgrade in the winter

This set of irons went on e-Bay last week for 25, but there was no trolly, drivers, putter, wedge, bag shoes or extras.

You are correct, winter is not a good time to sell. Try an advert in your local golf club.

If you need the cash, I'll collect the lot for 100.

Please dont be offended by my offer.

Can't believe a full set of Irons went for £25, that's just mental for any half decent set, let alone these

and I am not offended by any offer, but £100 wouldn't get this lot, especially as I actually don't need the cash now, as I have raised enough for the Dragonball

I might drop £50 if they were being colllected soon, as I would rather someone was using them and collection would save me some hassle

Just something to add Neil if you happen to look back, are you sure they were exactly the same, as in Pro-Series and with the Rifle shafts, as they also made a couple of different X-14 irons, all cheaper versions

Ebay currently has a cheaper set, but they are the normal basic X-14's with the cheaper Graphite shafts

I got my Ping G15 Irons (only 4 months old), Ping Hopper Bag (brand new), BEN Q 9.5Deg Driver and a White Hot Odyssey Putter and Chipping Putter for £300 all in off ebay mate.

The G15's are circa £600 BN.

You sure they're not fake mate? Sounds very cheap. I once bought what I thought was a bargain TaylorMade r7 460 driver. The movable weights were glued on. Wouldn't buy anything golf club related off eBay. I'd much rather a set like yours Rog, they seem good value to me.

Best of luck with the sale!

As I said I am open to a sensible offer

and Callaway X-14 Pro Series irons with Rifle shafts were well over the £1000 mark new (from memory they weren't far off the £1500 mark), I know because Jen had a fit

These clubs although can be used by high handicapers, are really design for mid handicapers looking to come down into the single figures

Thanks Nige

all my Clubs were bought from either the local Callaway official seller/pro shop or my club pro shop

Can I also say again, feel free to look at Ebay, but make sure you are looking at

CALLAWAY X-14 PRO SERIES with STIFF CONSTANT WEIGHT RIFLE SHAFTS with CALLAWAY Half Cord Grips, not cheapy Golf Pride or similar

there were several different versions of the X-14 irons, the ones I am selling were the top of the line, also this is the full set of irons 3Iron to SW, most sets on Ebay, won't include the SW, as it didn't come in the set, you had to buy it separately

You could be right, I know there is a lot of fake stuff on e-bay.

The Tight lies drivers are popular on ebay, mine sold for £70 so worth splitting and listing if you have the time tho!

From what I have seen I could get about £400 plus if I could be bothered to sell everything separately

If at some point I need the money I guess I might have to go down that route

At this stage they are being left on here for the £250, but no lower, I would just like to see them getting used rather than filling up the corner of the conservatory

Thanks for the heads though, hopefully someone will realise what a good buy these are eventually lol
