Aero-M
Got a scorpion exhaust for my bike with the link pipe. One end sides over the header, its very tight but just goes. The other end fits over the silencer, but in doing so leaks, the silencer has slots on the end of the pipe as if it should go over the link pipe. Spoke to the shop I got it from and they say its right. I'm sure I'm being fobbed of. Can you guys shed any light on it for me please. Its the third picture I'm talking about, the other problem is the hanger in the first picture is way to big, again they say this is right
tony tt
In the first pic the hanger bracket looks wrong mate it's not flush with the can. My link pipe on the gixer went inside the can to prevent leaking. Have you tried a better jubilee clip to see if it will tighten more? It doesn't look like its on straight bud from first pick it looks squint? Can really see on iPhone clearly. The scorpion is an oval design That looks like a hanger off a larger round can mate. I'd be taking it back whoever said that's right knows f all about bikes!
neilp9876
I had a scorpion can on a bike and it fitted perfectly so you may have a duff can or have fitted it wrong. Phone Scorpion themselves, they are friendly and will probably help you out
Purity14
Link pipe should be inside the can. Jubilee clip should squeeze the can onto the pipe The hanger bracket needs some bending gently around until it fits correctly, unless its just too big? You sure you ordered a can with the right diameter?
Aero-M
I ordered it all together, link pipe, can, and baffle. It was a seller on ebay who had it on display in his shop.
Purity14
Tbh I think its wrong, unless you turn the link pipe the other way around and it fits inside the can? perhaps youve bungled it on the wrong way down
SupraAyf
The nut/bolt tensioner in your 3rd shot (far right) should normally be fitted towards the header side i.e. tucked in to the fairing. EDIT: The whole thing looks wrong to me.
Aero-M
It has a bit welded on for the centre stand to rest against so can only go the way it is.
