ripped_fear Posted January 10, 2012 Share Posted January 10, 2012 Do not Spray the NA engine with water dude other wise water will seep past the plastic so I have been told, I went old school when doing mine, engine cleaner and a rag and a lot of hard work. There is no point in firing the water at the spark plug cover as it's a bit of plastic that takes 2 seconds with a cloth. You need to concentrate on the areas that you can't easily get to with a cloth, and stay away from any problem areas. A jetwash has a lot of power but doesn't actually use a high volume of water, hence why these are the weapon of choice. I don't even cover anything up on my car when I'm doing it, I just don't go near the ignitor or anything like that while spraying. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
