Ideas for what car to get...

I currently have a "Wanted" add in the for sale section for a TT with a £7,000 budget.

However, the opportunity has come up to maybe go back to University for 4 years to study Mechanical Engineering.

If this is the case then I will be going full time and packing in the job, and in which case I wouldn't be able to keep a Supra.

If this is the case...and i'm not sure it is yet...what would be a good car to get for £7,000.

I'd be looking for something a lot cheaper to run with still a £7,000 budget, but want something at least a bit good looking and a little sporty hopefully.

Ideas?

Do Uni. Your be able to spend more on your supra in a couple of years. What you spend on a Supra now, may reduce the amount of money you can spend on it in the future, and other things like a house :)

I think you would be better career wise to take the option. There are many people who don't have the opportunity to go to Uni and would rip your arm off for that chance.

If it doesnt need to be practical, a later mk3 MR2 is a good choice (great handling, convertible, cheap to run) or one of the later Celicas?

If you want something a bit older and more special, VW Corrado VR6s are brilliant cars.
