Supra Kong
Well..... does anybody know if the EVC IV has a gain function?
kaahari
I`v used the evc iv 3 years now, never needed to upgrade.. yet Don`t understand what you mean by gain... but you can set either single setting for pressure OR low pressure (low rpm) and high pressure (max rpm) and box calculates values between them (for example with single turbo, reduce max torque when single turbo comes alive... a bit safer car ) There is also scramble boost button for instant higher boost setting. Only thing i miss would be controlling pressure settings manually by rpm points, new units (evc 5 etc) have this function... Scott
EVC V is the dogs if you can afford it. I don't think there is a lot between the IV and the Profec.
Samurai 20V
I have the EVC 5 installed, top unit... Takes some time to setup, but once done its very effective. I have purchased the EVC writer as well so soon I will be plugging in via PC to fine tune the boost. The price has decreased since HKS launched the EVC6 late last year.. Supra Kong
Cheers fella's Opted for the Greddy in the end! Looking at reviews and stuff on the web it seems to be a lot simpler to operate!! Had a look at the EVC V but wasn't keen on the big display!!
