Noz Posted January 9, 2012 Share Posted January 9, 2012 Maybe he wants to buy this and repair it as it will cheaper. Only problem is if you have 1 broken weld, will it happen again? Man hours to keep repairing it might make it more expensive. If it would be a single weld and no more problems I reckon it would be a winner. Nic Posted January 9, 2012 Share Posted January 9, 2012 (edited) i didnt think the HKS manifolds had any welds????? the first pic looks like the weld/crack is on one of the runners. The manifold goes through extreme heat cycles, it glows red hot under WOT and has to support the weight of the turbo, wastegate, etc. Here's a pic of my HKS manifold.
