Copied from another forum as i think you guys are knowledgable regarding EVERYTHING!

Can you help me with an MX5 related question?

Going to buy some BN8's this month for the mrs car.

We can roll the arches if needs be so that's not an issue.

I've done a few calcs using the offset calculator and think i've got it right. Just need a check before i crack on. I just wanna get the widest wheels that'll fit on a five with rolled arches and not much stretch. Want it looking pretty flush to the arches with minimal stretch

Stock - 6.5" ET45

BN8 - 7" ET15, 8" ET??, 9" ET0 (not sure on the 8" ET as it doesn't say on the website)

7" @ ET15 is 36mm extra

8" @ ET15 is 49mm extra

8" @ ET0 is 64mm extra

9" @ ET0 is 77mm extra

I think as long as the 8" wheels have ET15 i'll get away with the 8".

Is it worth getting a staggered wheel setup on these? And what is the perfect setup?

Muchos Gracias
