SW20 MR2 Turbo Rev 3/4/5

I'm currently looking for a 2nd generation SW20 MR2 Turbo Rev 3/4/5 (1994-99) in the UK, a clean, well looked after example with minimal modifications and ideally a hard top. Been searching the classifieds and forums but there're very few decent ones out there, if anyone knows of any that could be available would appreciate a heads up. :thanks:

cheers

Thanks yes I've seen that one, it's been on the market for a long time, very nice example but more than I want to spend.

Half that amount would buy a really nice one, but as you well know the problem is finding a clean one. Id probably go for a late mk3 instead myself, there a great drive and will top 50mpg on a run too apparently.

Take a look on IMOC - usually some nice cars there. Also, if a V6 pops up, don't discount it. (Especially if it's a Woodsport one), they're a hoot to drive.

The Woodsport V6 is a very smooth car too drive with silky smooth power delivery not to mention the engines are detailed nicely Have a word with Mr Woods im sure he could sort you something out.

Not really interested in a V6 conversion, really want an MR2 turbo (rev 3/4/5) in as original condition as possible. There seem to be a lot of clean non-turbos out there, but very few MR2 turbos that haven't been messed around with.

Probably a long shot but do we have any MR2/mechanical savvy members on here in the Glasgow area? There's a Rev3 MR2 Turbo I'm interested in there, but can't get up there for the next 2-3 weeks and wondered if there was anyone who could give it a once over for me in the meantime?
