J_Supra_07
Iam looking at getting a wide set of wheels just need a little help to find out if the offset will be ok. I am fitting JDL rear archs. Rear are 11.5j et 0 5x114.5 Fronts will be fine.
Nic
They would stick out past the stock wheel arches by around 50mm.
JamieP
Rear are 11.5j et 0 5x114.5 Supra fitment is 5x114.3, that offset will stick out to far for JDL arches.
Jamesy
Jdl arches are only going to give you 15-20mm more clearance mate those are gonna stick out too far
J_Supra_07
I thought the would be the case. Do you think the JDL archs can be worked to make them fit? I really don't want to loose the stock shape.
Jamesy
My rears are 11j et24 and my arches have been extended 20mm to make them fit. Your wheels would stick out about 20mm past the arches mate. Unless you want to run mega stretched tyres it wont work. And i mean serious stretch like the driftworks crew!!

Nope, Nur motorsport wide rear arches will be your only option if you want to retain the stock look.
jay200bhp
Ooor u could keep stock bodied roll the stock rear arches and buy my widened/banded oem rims which are 11.5 wide rears that way you will retain the supras stock back end see my forsale thread! Great sales tactic. Though I'm surprised they have sold though to be honest. Thought there would have been a lot of people who'd be after the sleeper look with wider wheels. Good luck with the sale

J_Supra_07
Think I'll get them as iam having a good deal on them and I'll get the Nur archs if the is no way of moding the JDL ones. Cheers guys. I'll post some pics up soon. Jamie do the Nur archs require a rear bumper also or do they blend into the stock one?
JamieP
Stock bumper is untouched, they are not easy to fit though, best to get them factory fitted.
Rob_Mitchell
Sod fitting nur rear arches, if i wanted the rears done ill pay Noel to do it... Not a easy thing to fit. They are by far the best mod in my opinion, sexy as hell.
