probrox
If you plan this for August I'll probably join you for part of the trip as I'll be up there with my wife for her Sisters wedding. Just depends wether or not I'll have enough money for petrol to use the Supra when the timed comes.

Westy
Who is "we"!? I'm sure a few of the lads from up here will join you for a bit!
Pixelfill
Knowing Ian "We" would probably mean +1 and Dragonlady, with a potential Ellis. Depending on dates me and Steph will be in. By Friday to Sunday are you planning an early start on Friday, or leaving late afternoon after work? if early we'll have to aim for college holidays or Steph won't make it. They normally give you a car a Christmas. Good friends they are..!! We would be up for this. I butted into a NE thread the other days about a meet at Scotch Corner, maybe we could combine the two? H. Mike We (The dragon and I) were thinking of sometime around August during the holidays, if that's ok with the H's of course? And yes we were thinking of setting off on a Friday morning from Preston area, that way we could get to Kilmarnock area for the evening stop over with a lunch stop and break at Dumfries. That way for Saturday it would give us a good start to get around the lochs. It's still in the planning stage at the moment. If we can get an idea of numbers, Sharon (dragon) can start looking into the accomodation for each night. Cheers Ian

Pixelfill
August works for Steph, maybe avoid the bank holiday weekend though, though next years term dates haven't been released yet. I would need to book the day off work for the Friday, so as for Ian if we can sort it early enough I can book before anyone else. Dragonlady
Out of curosity what would people prefer B&B or Camping? Edited January 9, 2012 by Dragonlady (see edit history)
Dragonlady
They haven't asked me! Didn't get a Christmas car either!! I don't remember running over the dog that they don't have! It's funny I thought that they had re-opened Lindum hill in Lincoln so that you could come down the hill to us! As for being offered a Honda - you wish
rob wild
B&B (less need for space with camping gear )
Pixelfill
I genuinely don't mind - would be good to get more use out of the tent, but I appreciate it's not the most comfortable for Sharon. I'll go with the consensus. Mike
Pixelfill
B&B (less need for space with camping gear ) you don't need that much space for camping if you don't have a 12 bedroom mansion tent and portaloo.
Havard
We are easy on the accommodation options.
