Dnk
Theres a website you put your requirements on and companies give you quotes and can be very cheap. I can't remember the damn website though. I could do the job for you but it would be a 500 mile round trip and cost £160 just in diesel !! The website is http://www.shiply.co.uk Edited January 4, 2012 by Dnk (see edit history)
tooquicktostop
I might have to go and get it,trouble is it will be in the garage for some time getting sorted and it would be a shame to have to insure it, plus it has a few issues and I would feel more comfortable having it transported
imi
Transporting it would be the better option - wouldn't risk it for a long drive.

Guigsy
You can rent one for the day. I used it to pick mine up from Leeds. It was a very long day and I was knackered though! They have branches all over. http://www.transporterhire.co.uk/
Abz
If you hire one Dean I don't mind coming along & giving you a hand. I'll speak to the guy I know & let you know tomorrow what he quotes. Can you narrow it down a bit where in West Yorkshire?

Jamesy
tow it??
Purity14
tow it?? Easier to catch the train up there, get day insurance on it for circa £50 and then just drive it back. ..its not like it wont make it back - this is the cheapest and quickest option. Guigsy
Supras are 13-1400 are they not. Mine was a single and had no interior anyway. It wasn't a problem weight wise. Towing is cheaper but you need a big enough car. My dads 3l jag that tows a caravan all the time was right on the towing limit when you added the supra + trailer weight. And there was some other reason we couldn't do it. Wength or weight ment I couldn't do it on my license or something like that. Also. Regarding temp insurance. I have never managed to get anyone to cover a supra on a temp policy. just a flat no
Jamesy
From Leeds? Yep - if mine wasnt an auto i would have towed it all the way back from santa pod

Ive done it at least 5 times.
