Suprakeith
hello my front drivers headlight got a load of water in (my fault left bulb cover off while washing car) and now the lense is full of condensation and has bin for last 10days now, Does anyone know the best way of drying headlight out without seperating the unit? I was thinking of removing the headlight unit and putting near radiator in house over night?
Noz
Remove the bung at front of the headlight to let air circulate. Make sure its back on if its raining. Its located at front of the light If you remove light and the bung, you could also remove the main beam bulb to aid in air flow.
Havard
Mine have been like this all winter. I would take them out and keep them in the house for a few days. Take out the high beam bulb and use a hair dryer if you need to accelerate the process. H.

d-_-b
Just a small note related to lights + condensaton & indoors - when you refit the light into the car, it may mist up ugain (as the air temperature inside the light from being in the house, will be warmer than the air outside) But this should go after a day or so when the air temps have balanced. 2soops
Id take the main beam bulb holder out and drive it around with the dipped beam on, heat from a halogen bulb should be better than any house radiator. Wouldn't use this method if its raining though!!!!! Edited January 5, 2012 by 2soops Missed nt of of would (see edit history)
TheTurtleshead
Take it out, remove bulbs, place in oven at 80C for 5 minutes, leave to cool, refit bulbs, replace on car. Works a treat, this way you know you have them properly dry!
