CJ
The Golf is a stunning machine and generates a huge amount of interest wherever you drive it. It is surprisingly nippy too and with the after market exhaust that is fitted has a lovely deep rumble to it. The mileage has not changed a lot as I didn't drive it any great distance during my lendsy period. I just checked the mileage and it is 118300

Thanks mate. I can take any pictures you want mate, I gave the car to Dave and the work began, Partial respray only on panels that needed it, The car also went to a Porsche specialist for a new set of front spot lights, new fuel pump relay (£1000!) Dave did a project thread here http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?227831-Dean-s-Porsche-project The car has not long been back with Dave for a misfire, this was the dizzy caps and HT leads (£500!!) The missus is going through a car-change mode at the mo so I have suggested a 928 but she's looking at a Fiesta. What do they say about men and woman originating from different planets!
