The Golf is a stunning machine and generates a huge amount of interest wherever you drive it. It is surprisingly nippy too and with the after market exhaust that is fitted has a lovely deep rumble to it.

The mileage has not changed a lot as I didn't drive it any great distance during my lendsy period.

I just checked the mileage and it is 118300

Its a cracking car, will be sad to see it go, it has a GTI front lower lip since this picture as well, it gets so much attention where ever it goes, not many of them left now I guess

Not in the condition, ahhhhhhh your pulling at my wallet strings............ Runs off to speak with the wife.

Will hopefully be in touch.

Dean, do you have any better pics of the cars, i.e. ones where you can see the whole car from a side view, etc. Has the 928 had a full respray? Thanks mate.

I can take any pictures you want mate, I gave the car to Dave and the work began, Partial respray only on panels that needed it, The car also went to a Porsche specialist for a new set of front spot lights, new fuel pump relay (£1000!)

Dave did a project thread here http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?227831-Dean-s-Porsche-project

The car has not long been back with Dave for a misfire, this was the dizzy caps and HT leads (£500!!)

I have tons of service history

Just been to Tesco in it, it is a fantastic drive

I love both of your cars - the 928 and the Golf!

The funny thing is..... I have a Golf MK1 GTI Cabrio '89 too. Also in white! It's parked next to my SZ MKIV in the Garage waiting for spring when the weather is getting better... :)

regards, Herbert

Just taken a set of pics outside the house, will post up in a few mins

Dean, that's a credit to you mate. The missus is going through a car-change mode at the mo so I have suggested a 928 but she's looking at a Fiesta. What do they say about men and woman originating from different planets! LOL
