RPS Streetmax Clutch and 6 speed parts

Recommended Posts

Hi I have from my car for grabs the following..

Getrag V160 6 speed gearbox, Dual mass flywheel, Slave cylinder, Clutch Flexi stainless braid line and OEM hardline from slave to bulkhead hardline.

Short shifter with reverse lock out.

A frame shift support

AP shifter bush kit

complete 6 speed prop shaft

I think i should be able to supply all the nuts and bolts but what is required for a conversion depends upon what the receiving Supra is i.e. Auto, 5 speed Man etc. For me i converted from a SZ 5 speed N/A and the master cyl, trans to engine bolts and bulkhead lines where the same.

They reccomend new flywheel bolts every time, i may be able to find a couple or 4 new ones from various past projects.

RPS streetmax 38% uprated clutch done less than 1500 miles, plenty of life left. Capable of holding 700+hp on a BIG single.. and IMO was the best all round high performance clutch £500

Duel mass fly £300

6 Speed BIG Torsen LSD diff, always had the proper oil and regular changes (always comes out clean) inc both driveshafts. driveshafts £150 pair.

£800 inc uk delivery or knock off £80 for collection :D

Just to add sorry no PX as i have sourced all the other parts i require now.

Also i wont split the gearbox out seperately as this is the main expense and if anyone has had to buy new or source any of the associated parts new or used for these rare set ups then you will know.

Hi mate, i have a 95 TT auto and am interested in converting mine to a manual. Is all the above listed all i need to do the conversion? How many miles has the gearbox done? Do i need the 6 Speed BIG Torsen LSD diff as well for the conversion or is my one fine? Sorry if this is a silly question, i am fairly new to the Supra world

Yours will have a non lsd i suspect, Check out the trans/axle code on the inner drivers wing to be sure.

I cannot say what the mileage is because i bought a complete car to obtain this as they where so hard to find! Mileage on that since it was fitted was 800 miles! then i have owned it for circa 4 years and done no more than 2500 miles.

I think you may need a master cylinder (N/A Manual ones will work ok) a clutch pedal of course, probably a smaller brake pedal and maybe a plate made for where the shifter sits. As i mentioned in my first post i have never done a Manual to auto conversion.
