Yeah I don't hold loads of hope but to be honest I am somewhat broke at the moment and thought there was no harm in advertising now in the off chance one comes available in the future when I have a bit more cash, What did you think of yours when you had it? I contacted mines but there is no way I am sending my ecu there or buying a new one at that price though for what the gain would be.

The thing with the mines was I didn't really notice the difference until I put my stock one back in and sold it on. It defiantly improved the midrange, especially in third, but didn't really do much more past the stock rev limit so it never really benefited from 600 more revs.

The Mines ecus are alright if you can get them cheap enough, i would not pay more than 2-250 for one, any more and you might aswell fit an EMB or EMU and have the ability to map it.

I do miss the silly rev limit though, but not fun when your car is on the dyno and it goes way past 8k.

That price is around the limit I set myself probably would go to £300 and that's about it, Did think about EMU but it is just to expensive by the time it is brought and paid to be set up as I assume the mines is a straight swap over.

(waiting to find out how wrong I am)

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but how much of a difference do these ecus make? Never driven an NA before but wasnt majorly disappointed in the performance of mine although i had already decided on my 1JZ swap before i bought the car. On ripping the 2jz out with ecu, guess what i find;)

A winning lottery scratch card with £1 on it??

I had one in my car, obviously it makes a bit more of a difference on a stock TT than it does on a stock N/A but it's still a great upgrade IMO.

Yeah I was faffing around with the idea of one of these or an apexi neo or something of the sort. I was going to call it quits on the upgrades after getting one of these or similar done and then maybe just a few cosmetic touches and call it a day.

Are you selling yours then Kraig or have you just wafted this in front of my nose :)

After nearly wrecking my car and scuffing the tyres more maybe I don't need a car that wants to accelerate faster :D

Ohh, i dont know, decisions, decisions, could use it one day you know!:D Nah its yours if you want it mate, £250 delivered? That was the price you were thinking anyway. Not in a big rush to sell it so can hold it as long as you need.

As i say i've never driven an NA before, daily driver is a modified XJR (393bhp), and i ran about in the Soarer TT for a while. Wasnt expecting much from an NA, and when i collected the car the owner said it was pretty fast, but was thinking to myself 'yeah right!' but driving it home i was quiet surprised. Took it for a spirited drive the morning after i bought it and the mid range 60-100 mark was surprisingly good! Dunno if you can see in the picture, but can give you the serial number to check whats been done before you consider buying?
