Steve
Well after a stressful year with splitting up with the wife who I have been with for 11 years I am determined to get myself straight and make this year more enjoyable. I just need the house to finally sell now so I can move on and make a fresh start with my life. Everything else that I thought I wanted to have as a new years resolution just doesn't seem important anymore, happiness is

Good on you for being so determined and positive in light of what happened. Here's wishing you a great 2012. Geo- just want to say a big thank you man for your help with the gym routine. I do exactly what you do in terms of what muscle groups I work on at set days and have been doing so for 3 months now. I've gotten bigger, cut out a lot of crap that I used to eat and am loving gym. Wish you were down here so you could give me some pointers on my technique. My resolution: move up from Tobasco sauce to Ancona.

jonathanc
Just wondering what your new year resolutions are? Mine are: 1. fitness (must loose weight and eat more healthily) 2. mind (mustn't clutter my mind with unnecessary worry and stress) 3. soul (be kind and generous but keep a level head and be more responsible) 4. savings (try a put £200 a mouth into savings. Would love to get the Supra on the road for Summer) 5. porn (stains are getting really obvious, must cut back) Happy new year all x Mine's surprisingly identical except for #5 #1 is top priority for me too as been really unhealthy past few months because of work and general lazyness. RedM
1. Give up alcohol and bread. 2. Make sure I'm fit for three off-road marathons in June. 3. Start training from July onwards for ultramarathons in 2013. 4. Dip under 19 minutes for a 5k and 40 mins for a 10k. Not really resolutions but it's the best I have. Do you do anything that's even remotely bad for your body, ever (other than the knackered knees from running)?

Abz
Sort out 2nd wedding & start preparing to look for 3rd wife (Wife No1 helping me with this). You all have a amazing 2012, remember those less fortunate than you & help those who need it, love your family & friends. Treat people the way you would like to be treated. Push yourself that little bit extra & all them little bits will make a big difference. Remember anything is possible, even the impossible, so set your limits high & every time you get knocked down, do a bloody backflip & try again, giving up is for losers, not us. What you need is a goal more achievable. For example: I've set the goal to make my rod into an acceptable size for a small pygmy goat.
