What fuel do you use?

Probably been a poll for this before, but was wondering what most guys are using as I'm torn between BP 97 and Tesco 99.

Mostly V-power but i will use anything, never seems to make much difference, its got a tank full of bp super in it at the min.

mine was mapped on V-power, but will stick in Tesco 99 stuff. Lee did tell me to use V-power when i could but tesco stuff should be fine.

I always use v power, mainly because the local BP is almost 5p a litre more expensive!

I cant see it making any difference to a NA or even a stock TT, save your money and put 95 in it, ive ran all my TT's on 95.

I just found mine ran like a 3 legged dog when I had 95 in it last time plus its only a few pence extra and saving 60p or so wont help me out too much sadly.

I've been thinking about this for a while now my car was mapped on v-power and i asked if i could run other high octane fuels and was told not to it was mapped on v-power so stick with it. The catch now is i want to bring my car to Germany in the summer for a play will i have to limit the boost or remap it? Can you tell by watching the AFR's on the gauge as i have an AEM EMS and have no EGT read out or any other warnings ( need syvecs on the new car). I would rather not find out the fuel was bad by having it pink so bad it puts a hole in the piston or some thing equaly horrible.

Gulf superplus 98 unleaded for me, it's one of the only fuelstations around nearby which supplies this mixture (still).

But on long trips when i can't find a Gulf station, BP ultimate or Shell Fuels.

I am surprised you guys get tesco's up there as I didn't think they had places that sold fruit in Scotland or that anyone there knew what fruit was.

BP 98, Shell VPower and sometimes Tesco 99 if I have to.

erm id rather use v-power but cant always do that as my closest one is about a 20 min drive and im never over that way, any super unleaded does the job really if jamie p can use any type of high octane fuel with that amount of power im sure all us guys will be fine

Normal Unleaded for the NA. Though tried V-Power, doesn't make the slightest difference apart from your wallet!

 

My previous TT was religiously ran on a V-Power diet! Even when it was abroad!
