mwilkinson
Looks tidy that! Air filter looks like its hanging off though...? Yeah looks that way. If thats all thats wrong with it, its a minor point and easily rectified.
dan294
Looks a bargain as well. Like you say, the filter is only a 5 minute job.
ashbuster
looks like the airfilter is too small isnt it a pipercross that?
Josh42
I caught a glimpse of this car this morning, looks a good buy for someone. Wish I had the money for it myself.
Abz
Looks a bargain as well. Like you say, the filter is only a 5 minute job. Didn't notice a 'buy it now' price. At the moment it is still on bidding & has 5 days to go (£1,058 at the moment). Certainly a stunning Supra.

Guigsy
That's a very clean engine bay for a 94... Also creme interior. That's not normal...
mwilkinson
Agree, its been played with. But its still a lovely clean example. I suppose it comes down to price. With the history it has it's unlikely to fetch good money.

Dim Sum
i might go and view the car. I ain't that far from Canvey.
Branners
How is the car 'stolen recovered' but not on the insurance register? Somebody has taken a bit of time to fit the UK spec interior to that car, sort of raises a question why? If it stays around £1,500 then it is worth it, but there are other great NAs around for £1500 to £2,000 so I would be quite careful on that car if it was me. Guigsy
Although I can't moan about the cream interior. My White jap spec has the creme carpet and cream recaros from my uk in it and my blue uk has grey carpet from the jspec
Westy
I thought along the same lines as Branners on this one...why advertise it as stolen recovered if its not recorded!? Honest or dodgy!?

dan294
Might not appear on HPI yet? A mate of mine bought a Merc C43AMG that was a Cat D for an apparent front end shunt, didn't show on HPI when he bought it but did when he came to sell it 2-3 months later. Similarly another mate of mine looked at an M3 convertible, was advertised as HPI clear to start but had pretty opbviously been damaged and repaired; not that well though. Couple of months later still for sale, the ad had changed to a Cat D repaired. Not sure if it takes time to appear on a HPI report...? Or this one may have possibly recovered before the insurance paid out? He may just be advertising it as Stolen recovered to cover his own back. Wouldn't bother me at all, if it went cheap enough that is! Gotta wonder though!
Dim Sum
I've contacted the seller, planning to meet. If I can get for cheap, I'm planning to break it, so it shouldn't matter but I would like to see what's the story behind the vehicle. Dim Sum
Update on this seller. No email reply yet, but it is still christmas holidays I guess. I've been down to the estate where its suppose to kept and no signs of the supra or the business. Not saying there not a real business but I couldn't find them. On the ebay site, looking at other items for sale he seems to have a few of these recovered cars for sale. Any one heard of I think 1st car company? jsnlvxr
this car was for sale at 3500 on pistonheads a while ago. no mention of stolen. http://cars.trovit.co.uk/index.php/cod.frame/url.http%253A%252F%252Fwww.pistonheads.co.uk%252Fsales%252F3405478.htm/id_ad.4F151M1XBE4/type./what.toyota%20supra%20aerotop/pos.2/org.1/pop.1/publisher_id./referer_id.1/t.
mwilkinson
It's over £2k now. Something smells bad about this one. I've come to the conclusion I wouldn't touch it. Claims in the pistonheads advert it was worth 4.2K!!
Ricky49
Seen this on eBay also, I wonder why there isn't must interest in it.
