SupraStar 3000
Hi guys. Anyone know how to make a .mov file play on a PS3. I've been struggling all day yesterday with no joy. I was hoping it could be copied onto a USB stick and just play, but the PS3 wont recognize any files I try to install onto it. Its a 1.25gb video I want to show over Christmas. all help appreciated
Geo
Has your TV the ability to hook up your laptop to it bud? if it does you can run it from your laptop. Or you could try and stream via tversity i know though the ps3 is a pain to set up using that though. Another option it to to look for a program that converts .mov > .avi then it will run no probs
SupraStar 3000
Can't take the laptop mate as my parents want to keep the video to show family/friends. I can covert the file to a .avi as I have quicktime pro so i'll try that. Only problem is, i'm sure I've already tried that and it didn't recognize the file. Will try again. Tricky-Ricky
Try Any Video Converter, its free, or just do a search, plenty of stuff about.
SupraStar 3000
Sorted. That video converter is pretty handy Tricky - thanks. Funnily enough the file type for the PS3 was .wav which didn't work. .Avi finally worked, but after selecting 'show ALL file types' Thanks guys. You've been awesome. Don't know what I'd do without this club
