Geo
WOW! How long did that prop last for bud? Was going to take mine out, but its chucking it down with rain. And one bad luck for a supra today is enough.
Noz
Caught the break on video, what are the chances. Good shot. What are the stock props typically rated to?

Geo
Its the original prop. thats lasted some serious abuse then.
JamieP
thats lasted some serious abuse then. It took a lot at previous power levels, ive has the DSS prop on for a long time but as i twisted that it had to go back for repair, stock prop lasted about 300miles with this setup. Neil-NA
Not so good on the prop front, however its nice to see that the car gets used over winter and isn't just stuck in a garage with 7 coats of wax and a car covet on
JamieP
Im going to take it off the road for a few weeks now, i figure as the prop and exhaust is coming off i may aswell give it a good tidy up under the car, im going to get it up as high as i can tomorrow and pull it to bits, powdercoat the fuel tank cover and underseal the car again, going to also take all the IC pipes off and make up some support bars so they cant blow off anymore, needs to be back on the road for the LMM meet 22nd jan. JamieP
Just fitting it yourself bud? Yeah its easy enough, got a few jobs to do first though, Im gonna have the billet donuts modded a little before i fit it so the rear one locates on the diff flange like the stock one does, should take some stress off the bolts. Chris Wilson
What's different about this new one to the older uprated unit? I would have thought they'd use bigger U/J's and bigger tube OD for the hollow part of the shaft. It'd scare the heck out of me, having seen what a flailing prop can do if it decides to lathe through the floorpan, or dig into the road surface.
