RMJJ
Hi all, little post regarding my loss last week! Late post but, better than never, I am just making people aware that my bike was stolen early hours of the 15/12/11. It was a Suzuki RM 125, 2007 model. I will post pics. Noticeable things were; Blue samco hoses Red fuel cap Excel wheels, with near new dunlop tyres Custom DC "shoe bike" graphics (DC shoe commercial featuring Pastrana) Black seat cover and the kit was stolen too, pictured. Also a huge lot of fishing tackle was also stolen, a collection of way over 20 years which my dad had over the years built up, including rods worth over £300 each! Were all devastated, especially just before Christmas. I am just hoping for those that do take part in fishing/ motocross, to be aware and if the bike is seen for sale, or any fishing tackle if offered cheap, to get in touch please!! pics. this is what I was working towards Thanks all for taking the time to read. Jamie. Ps sorry if this is the wrong section, please do not delete, move if need be as I really would like this message to go out for everyone to see. Morpheus
There really are some scumbags out there, honestly. The number one rule is that you never touch another man's rod. It's just plain wrong. Keep your eye on ebay for parts and bundles. My guess is mid to late teens and someone with a good knowledge of exactly what you had and where. What wasn't stolen might give you a clue as well. People like to brag, so someone is bound to know something after a while. Is there anyone who you think might be jealous and know where it was kept? Interested local kids you've shown etc.? They can't fail to have noticed the noise. My neighbours had a mountain bike nicked by a local lad who the previous morning threw a football over my wall while I was washing up and got his mate to go and get it back. It landed right next to the bike. I'd already warned my neighbours about leaving it in open view over the wall. I never had him down for a thief in several years of knowing him but there's no doubt in my mind. Dumbass yes but thief, no. It also explains why a pen knife and two allen keys went missing the last time I let him in the door. The same two keys that fit his 49cc mini-moto that I'd just bought a new pullstart for. Also, why does no-one ever see or hear anything? Obviously you've contacted the police and been given a crime number? I'd let all of my neighbours know too and ask them if they even remotely suspect anyone or heard anything while you were out or in bed asleep. Hope this has a happy ending, even if the year hasn't and keep spreading the word locally.
