al02uk
Have you thought about doing anything on the inside? I found that changing that (dying carpet black etc) made it feel just like new Here are a couple of pics mid transformation. Andy
Gretie22
That looks awesome, I do like the seats and your dash lights are pretty snazzy. Never really thought about it to be fair, maybe one day.
Gretie22
I'm well up for a group run through the tunnel, it would sound epic! Thanks, the dash lights are led's soldered in place of the bulbs that were in there, a bit of a pain tbh. the clock is just a purple and blue film over the numbers to make it blue. The dials were just ones from ebay, I bought them because I wasn't keen on the 'mph' sticker that was put on top of the 'kph' reading. The seats were covers that I ordered and I just removed the old covers and replaced them with these ones.

Graham1984
I was so bored last night I had a tear up with a mate in a evo from portsdown hill just to go through there to pass the time.

al02uk
He wants a date in other words. Could be a bit awkward with the missus and our daughter looking over our shoulders though.
Graham1984
Where the is a will there's a way while you are in the helping mood can you sort out a problem with my car it should be a simple fix mainly the problem is it is an NA.
al02uk
Same here, there isn't alot you can do with it though, without putting a turbo on it. Ours is used as the daily runaround though so most of my money goes on the weekend toy project. Once thats complete though I might have a go down the NA-T route, it doesn't seem to bad to do really. Graham1984
I keep thinking about that but not sure if I will bother... Maybe Gretie22 will let us pinch hers??
al02uk
Sometimes I wish I'd just bought a TT to start with, I'm lucky enough for the fuel not to be an issue but the missus is petrified of the Subaru and didn't really want to entertain a TT (she did go from a 1.0 Picanto mind). Now she's driven it abit shes alot more confident and likes the odd motorway challenge, so I don't think it will be long before a turbo arrives

al02uk
Thanks, I'll let you know if I need a hand then. No worries mate, because they are self illuminating they need a little bit of wiring done, nothing too drastic though.
Graham1984
Gretie it is better to give than receive.... although you will receive a very tidy and shiny NA in exchange if that helps.
