Delboy52
The active front spoiler blades seem to be getting a bit rare. Are they about £400 new from Toyota? Has there ever been an alternative to the stock blade? Well I asked a friend of mine who runs a custom parts and bodyshop http://www.rt-performance.com, if he could make these blades in different materials. He'd do it if there was demand of over 5 people and he had a perfect original to base it from. Wondered if the interest is here?

Stevo
I'll have my own carbon one soon
Guigsy
The problem is mounting the blade without all the other gubbins if your friend can make suitable brackets that don't interfere with intercooler pipework then I'm sure it will be popular. I'd be interested. Or even if he could make it like the original!
monsween
I've looked into this quite alot and the blade would have to be fairly different than the orginal to work. Either that or you do the usual of bolting it to the OEM lip.
johnny g
Or a complete front bumper with integrated lip...
supralu
I'm interested too. A standard or carbon would do me.
j_jza80
SARD used to make a carbon one (a member on here with a very tasty black Supra has one)
Delboy52
This one looks really nice. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?232873-SARD-Carbon-Fibre-Active-Front-Spoiler Stevo, where are you getting your carbon lip from? Getting a good copy made of the lip is one thing. Getting a modified one to work with intercooler piping would be something a bit more involving I'd expect. Just so I know, what are the typical prices you'd expect to pay for each bit. Undertray, ECU, lip/blade, mechanism. Is that all of it? Slicknick
That's my car with the SARD lip, when i took my car to Paul Whiffin for some work on the car we did have a chat about potentially copying it for replicas, if there is a demand it might be worth it.. BOB B
there are a lot of people out there with full active set up who would probably go for something like that and at the right price I would be one of them.
