Funny enough I saw one on the road a few weeks ago, as I tried to got a little closer look then noticed some dodgy old TSW alloys on it...what a shame lol

I was a RS Turbo boy so these things were my enemy lol....looking forward to your updates John

Same here, blue oval ftw... I got spanked a few times off these lol

Got a Ram Raid induction filter sat up in the loft if you want it :) Brand new boxed never used.

Had a full GT Racing rollcage too until a few months back. May have some other R5GTT bits lying about, will have a look.

I've got an old Alpine flip out screen you're welcome too (it's the previous model to what I've got in my car. Not been used since May 2010, but should be fine!).

Thanks guys I'll take any parts you have lying around for sure, as the car will be built on a tight budget as my son is full time at college and only has a part time job. He'll be over the moon with those thank you very much. I'll drop you both p.ms.

i just had a butchers for a R5GTT and OMG they cost a fiortune nbow - gone a bit like the escort cossies - up in price!!!!

There's one on PH for £45k - wideboy and its a left hooker!! :faint:

Yep, good nick ones have been slowly rising in price.

The widebody / LHD versions you speak of were extremely rare versions, Turbo 1 and Turbo2 - used for Group B Rally! Raiders and the rare soft top R5GTTs are costly too.

Nice little cars, my friend had one with a GT28 on it and gave it death, was always reliable, fast and mad.
