stevie_b
Pant-wettingly close. Seeing the car driver pull away afterwards did remind me of something people sometimes do that bugs me. When I (and a stream of other cars on a single-carriageway road) pull over onto a verge to let an emergency vehicle past, sometimes cars behind me pull out from the verge and overtake me without letting me go too, as if I've parked on the verge to admire the view. Come on people! You don't need to be Hercule Poirot to deduce that I've pulled over solely to let the blues-and-twos past (after all, that's exactly what you've just done too), and it's *extremely* likely that I'm about to pull out onto the road again to resume my journey. When it happens, it's not as if I dawdle getting back onto the road either; some drivers treat it as another opportunity to show the world how much of a god they are at a standing launch. Try taking a walk, drink water and warm milk. Perhaps Stroke a pet or visit a friend. Tell a joke, laugh. You could carry out an act of random kindness to a stranger. Try just smiling. (even though your heart is breaking.) Set an achievable goal each day and congratulate yourself when you achieve it. There are some tablets that are supposed to calm you down, mainly herbal ones too if you find the world is getting too much! Lets hug and be friends, we can sit on the verges together and admire the view.
David P
That looked like an everyday seasonal standard Eastern European road experience, I have avoided plenty similar yet never managed to film one.
