Josh42 Posted December 14, 2011 Share Posted December 14, 2011 So I finally got round to it! I've owned my supra now since August. A 1993 NA Auto Aerotop in Renaissance Red. Before I had even bought I said that bodywork was not an issue as I planned to respray the car anyway, but other than a few marks here and pink door handles she's not so bad. The important thing for me was that the auto box was silky smooth and the engine purred and I instantly fell in love. She was fitted with a Torsen LSD which was also a bonus! She's not to everyone's taste as she's Is completely factory original but I see it as a blank canvas. Since then I haven't changed much due to the inbound winter but this is how she looks=] I also let her stretch her legs a little bit around Curburough sprint circuit and so the back was stripped for the day... All back together for now though! Plans for the spring are: 18" Ruff racing alloys w/chrome lips Custom Made John Ashley Exhaust Respray in Lexus ISF Ultra Blue Leather retrim on standard seats And a few other bits and pieces. I was massively surprised but Nothing I raced got off the line quicker than me but I was beaten to the finish by an Ibiza Cupra running 250bhp. Would of bought black ones but I don't think they ever did a Aerotop with black headlining. Looks good anyway! I used some black fabric dye from a company on eBay called "valeter's pride" Just applied it using a trigger bottle in small even coats Next is the respray then looking to source a GTE lump to drop in the old girl!
