JimC
Hi guys, Im having some work done on my Supra at my local bodyshop. The guy rang Toyota to enquire about the quicksilver paint. Toyota came back to him and asked it he wanted Quicksilver 'Light' or Quicksilver 'Medium'. Has anyone experienced this before? I wasn't aware there were different variations of the quicksilver colour! Jim

JimC
How can there be variations on the same paint code? H. That's what we asked Toyota! They couldn't really answer other than that (I quote)... "there are variations on the 1B9 colour code"

sdistc
That's weird. I sat down with my painter back in Australia before I left, and there appeared to be only one "recipe" for the 1B9 (Quicksilver FX) paint.
JimC
That's weird. I sat down with my painter back in Australia before I left, and there appeared to be only one "recipe" for the 1B9 (Quicksilver FX) paint. Thats what I expected to happen. Apparently not! We now have the 1B9 Quicksilver 'medium' in hand and are doing some trials.
