toughboy101
I've just got myself a 2JZGTE VVTi engine plus gearbox and ancillaries that have been taken out of a Lexus to install in my 94 NA Supra.. I've also been able to get hold of the wiring loom from the Lexus.. My question is.. Will I be able to use the Lexus VVTi wiring loom for the Supra or do I need to get one that is Supra specific?? Any help would be appreciated Btw, I've already spent the last couple of days searching this forum for the answer and couldn't find one.. Hence, this fresh post
hodge
Post some detailed pics of the loom including the ECU plug and I'll tell you if it will fit mate.
EMPEROR
It won't be straight fit mate... The Aristo VVTi harness doesn't go inside the car under the dashboard, the ECU is in the engine bay. And the connectors to fit the internal wiring harness are also different. Other then that it's the same. But this will be a lot of work to be done, especially if you are not familiar with what you are doing. P.S. Unless we are talking about LHD Supra and LHD Lexus, then I think (not a 100% sure though) it's a straight swap with the right length of the harness and the right connectors. toughboy101
Here are some pics of what I have.. Slight newbie, so it will be nice if your replies are a little elaborate.. Some of the uploaded images seem to have rotated on their own.. Can't seem to get the orientation right..
