hodge
Hi guys Bit of a strange 1 this. I've been up to help Kevin out with his supra today and we can't get it to start because the fuel pumps won't prime. The car has 2 Walbro pumps in the tank feeding a swirl pot and 2 Bosch 044 pumps under the car. None of the pumps will prime at all. Which has got me totally stumped. I've checked all the pump fuses and connections and theses no issues at all. t seems to me like the fuel pump ECU trigger is not firing. Any ideas guys. Parry_10
could be fuel pump ecu mate, you could try bypassing it by bridging the wires then if it works you know the ecu is faulty. Same thing happened to me about a year ago

Parry_10
I cant remember the exact wires but this might help- http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?203140-fuel-pump-ecu-wiring-Identification&highlight=12v+fuel+pump+wires I know its two of the wires that go to the plug for the fuel pump ecu if you bridge them together it will bypass the ecu (its called the 12v fuel pump mod) its bound to be somewhere on this forum
