scunner
Hi, Just had a set of Bomex sideskirts fitted today with rear spats done also. Only problem is the skirts come out from the body a fair bit more than the standard rear section, and it looks terrible. I already have 3mm spacers on the front due to the UK brake set up with nothing at the back. I was wondering if anyone knew if it would be ok to stick 20mm spacers on the rear to take up the space at the front of the rear arch and leave the front as is? The reason I cant do both as I have pretty much no arch clearence due to the Chris Wilson bilsteins with HKS springs. Would this cause handling issues? Any help would be appreciated. Cheers. merckx
So you either get them flush by having wheels of the correct offset or adding spacers. You would have to take into account what offset rear wheels you have fitted.
scunner
Cheers. I've only just started getting to grips when it comes to offsets. I've been trying to buy a set of wheels to fit the UK spec brakes. Finally gave up due to budget and am just going to refurb the Ray's that I bought the car with so ill need to make them work. I take it when you say take the offset into account is not to take it too high when adding the spacers?
