Word of warning....

I tried to replace the pump on my Bosch washer/dryer last month... I plugged the power cable into the wrong part of the pump. I blew the machine.

Advice... if you want it fixed... get someone who knows what theya re doing to fix it.

It cost me £600 to get an identical machine to the one I blew up. It would have cost £30 to fix had a paid someone.

Check the trap on the bottom front behind the flap, for foreign objects. Usually hair grips, coins and other random objects stick in there.

Our Bosch Maxx is 8 -10 years old, lives in an outhouse and has only requires 3 sets of motor brushes in that time @

Do the worn motor brushes make it whine/grumble when spinning?

At what stage of the wash does it make this noise? All the time, start, end? Surely has to be a pure Luck thing. I can't see how using a different type of detergent would effect a noise, can you here where the noise is coming from?

Marbleapple- where the hell did you plug it lol.
