fastcar
Great clutch will hold the power well. There might be a bit of a judder as you engage the clutch for the first 1000 or so miles but once it has run in properly then is should be spot on after that. welshbuddy
nah i havent mate there like 300quid lol
fastcar
it might be diffrent with your setup but with the 2JZ and the V160 you have to use one of there flywheels to get clearance on the clutch plate. But as i said may not be the same for you with your setup:)

( should have taken more pics this weekend, ( but i didn't) ! anyway moving on: 1/cleaned the engine bay 2/New competition clutch fitted. 3/removed Soarer Throttle cable ,ecu, 4/Lifted and Fitted the 1jz - Took abit of persuading. 5/Came across a few complications, Fuel line ,gearbox connections ( If anybody could help with the electrics , got some questions ) -cheers 6/ Started to Refit power steering pump and lines 7/ and all the other little bits - Ignition and such. 8/ Fed the Loom through car Edited January 22, 2012 by welshbuddy (see edit history)
welshbuddy
ok need help with the gearbox wiring, as the Soarer had a automatic gearbox, we cut the Loom that goes to it as we didn't need it, so we now have the problem of wiring the gearbox up. these are the plugs from the N/A loom that went to the gearbox. need to know what they control if they go to the gearbox. And because it is on the N/A engine still , how far does the Loom go under the manifold?. thanks daz.
