My target is to Convert it to a 1jz gte, (2.5 twin turbo), tidy the bodywork up and make it how i want it :).

So i set off on the hunt for the Engine and the prices varied from £750-£1200 !. Which i thought was pretty expensive so i waited and kept searching as you do , if you have a budget.

Another day, another search. I came across this Toyota Soarer with the 1jz in her on ebay , which i instantly bid on at £600, Cut the story short i bought it for £750, bought as seen!. Cheers for the lift *magictorch* And driving the Tank back , :).

Here is the Toyota Soarer (AkA. The Tank

So one day when We were Free, * Offland + neilthenut* Big thanks to them. As i was clueless!! :D. We took upon taking the 1jz out.

You were at the lights and I was going the other way in a Golf TDI...yep its all gone down hill

I've got the house now so I'm looking for another Supra to do up, I got some great experience with yours so I'm confident I could make another minter.

Glad its all going well, next time I see you my TDI will kick your ass ; )

just had a look, looks to be £399.99. How much power will that hold? but if i buy a clutch for the w58, its then useless if i upgrade gearbox??

newbie questions :)!

I think thats for 400ftlbs, I am running 427hp and 430ftlbs through mine never slipped once, there are a couple of threads on here seem to get good reviews all the time, yes if you change the gearbox then you will need a different clutch to suit the new gearbox
