Scott
Is it important that the cam position sensors are orientated with the plugs uppermost? I'm just looking at tidying up my loom, extending bits etc etc (cheers John) and thought they would be out the way a little more if the plug went underneath rather than over the top. I can't think of any reasons it would cause issues off the top of my head but I know it's an important part to the engine running properly. dude
I cant see it making a difference Scott, if you are running a syvecs you only need one so you could ditch the back one.

Ooo that's interesting. Are there blanking plates available?
dude
Pretty easy for an engineer to knock one up, rather than just use a flat plate get one made up that mimicks the cam sensor with sealing O ring.
Ryan.G
It won't matter if it's up side down. Syvecs mkiv pnp kits uses front sensor but can use rear if wanted Ryan

Ryan.G
Cheers Ryan, is there any benefit to using 2? Is one just a backup if the other fails? It's for backup mate as a 2jzgte won't run at all without a cam signal due to no missing teeth on crank trigger
