Your biggest supra regret

Selling my black TT aerotop to a chap that tore it apart, sold most of the parts and AFAIK never then had it back on the road again. OK I just found the car. OMG I feel like crying http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?257329-Aerotop-Shell-%A31000!!!-BOGART-D10-S-WITH-TYRES-amp-Lots-of-other-parts! thats my car!!! It breaks my heart to see that. I spent £1600 on the interior of that motor and now look at it :(

Not a good thread to read after driving 1.5 hours in the traffic! I now wish I got an auto! Miss my previous Supra very much :(

Then again I don't drive this one as much as I did with the previous one so I guess it will do. :)

I'm just feeling charitable lately, I even brought myself to say Happy Birthday to Josh?! On a more on-topic note, I don't really have any regrets, but there are two things I would change. 1. Previous owner of my car almost killed me by neglecting a brake caliper bolt, causing the caliper to jump off, bend a wheel and lock it solid -_- Luckily I had just got home, and was going very slowly, not the warp factor 9 I was doing on the motorway :), which would have been a bit dicey to say the least.... . And 2. I didn't realise I was being lied to about the Front Nur Arches on my car when I bought it :(.

No regreats i bought a bottom end spec N/A auto with approx 46000 miles on it 3 and a bit years ago and its never gave me a serious problem and its done approx 66000 now. a few small niggles that were easily fixed ie water getting into central locking causing it not to work properly and what i thought was a whining diff but turned out to be federal tyres that were making the noise. oh and a leaky shock remedied with a full set of yellow bilsteins from Keron. I noticed a lot of people seem to love their first supra the most even if it was an N/A.....

Is yours the NA-t? did you know it was a na when you bought it?

yeah thats the one, i knew it used to be an na because of the vin plate but didnt know it was based around an na, with tt internals, cam covers etc. kinda serves me right for not doing as much research as i could but im still chuffed to bits with the car :)

For me it was probably selling my first mkiv. That car was so quick and had everything set perfectly. I sold it so I could buy what was the holy grail at the time, a UK spec 6sp. Never really enjoyed that car so that was a regret too. Oh, and then fitting an Emanage Blue, that was a pain in the bum and was never quite right. And then finally choosing a tiptronic over a standard autobox on my latest car. I dont use the tiptoe mode, and cannot use it like the stock autobox so it doesnt give me what I want.

The NEXT supra I get will be an RSP auto, low mileage with nuts and bolts that actually come undone. Then I wont have any regrets and it will have only taken 4 supras to get there.
