Norrie88
Was in my Winter Car thankfully! (Subaru Sport) Well Yesterday morning I was heading towards the ferry to pick up my girlfriends dad (I live in the Orkney Isles) at 9:15am. As I left the main town heading towards the pentland ferry service I got to playing a game of Chicken with a Corsa. I came around a corner, which has a couple hundred meter straight and another corner, and seen a tractor with a big ass tanker. Thought nothing of it. Next I know there is a flippin Black Corsa alond side it coming straight at me. I'm straight on the brakes, it's wet with slush on the roads, it takes a good few seconds for the Corsa driver to even realise what's happening and I finally see the car dipping, trying to slow down. Thankfully there is a patch of Garden and no ditch at the side of the road. I head towards it and see the Corsa doing the same thing. I'm thinking this person has definetly got it in for me!! And to top it all off there is a big **** of a tractor still in the mix!! Thankfully the person decides to go the way they were going and we avoiding any contact. I end up on the grass bouncing around and trying to keep the car from sliding into the wall. I managed to get back on the road. Slowed down to take a deep breath, looked in my mirror and that SOB is carrying on around the next corner!!! I got turned and gave chase, but they had gotten into the town and vanished. MAD!! Thankfully my gf's dad knows the guy that was driving the tractor, because he is a tractor dealer. Plus I got the first half of the number plate. Orkney isn't a big place so I'll be sitting waiting for them on Monday morning, waiting for them to go to work:eyebrows: Then I'll be going to the police with this and hopefully get the book thrown at them. All I can say is I'm thankful I wasn't in my Supra or I would have lost the plot!!!
Lurch
Some people are just so thick on the roads! Probably a good thing you didnt catch him in your rage! Although its tempting you will always come off worse when the police get involved! Just be glad you wasn't in your supra and no one is hurt or worse, killed as that could of been the other ending..? Norrie88
Yeah I was tempted to wait for them going into work and following them. But like you say that would just end in (there) tears. So better to get the rest of there registration and report them. If I hadn't reacted the way I did it would have been a head on, or if they tried to go for the verge a side on, then the tractor would have likely finished the job. I am glad no one was hurt, the fact is that there getting off with it. That's what annoys me at the moment.

dude
Just so were clear, by "word" he means fist. Now now I have renounced violence !!!!!! I was just thinking about scareing the living sh****te out of him:innocent: a while ago a little pillock used me and a couple of other cars as a chicane, I can honestly say i have never seen anything like it, if he got it wrong there would have been carnage. I managed to catch him up at some lights and by the time I finished with him (verbally) he was almost in tears. i told him if I ever saw him driving like that again I was going to make sure he was unable to drive (I got his address cause I made him give me his licence) for a long time, the other cars involved all came and had a word too. guess what everytime I see this little p****k he is driving quite well !!! Go figure

Norrie88
I didnt even think they had cars there !!!! We even have electricity now a days. But the polar bears can be a pain this time of year. We'll see what the police say tomorrow. If they can't be bothered to do anything I'm sure i'll get something sorted. Norrie88
Police won't do a thing. I know who it is now though. So it's a start.
