Would like some advise on tuning my 307 Diesel

Hey people

I have a 307 XSI HDI 110 which is my daily drive and I would like to get it remapped to give the car a little more power..

Another reason for doing this is that these cars have a DPF system which blocks and restricts the performance of the car too.

I know you can completely remove the DPF system so you don't get the DPF blocking plus gives you a few more horse power as well

On the off chance has anyone had any experience with this as I would like to know if you buy a new middle section exhaust or does the filter knock out of the original middle box?

Also has anyone else on here remapped there diesel ? Where did you have it done

Thanks

No problem dude, there are lots of firms not doing this properly, we have just taken a contract to map 2500 vehicles for a large courier firm and that should lead to another 18,000 after completion !!!

That's what I heard too, something like there just telling the ECU there is no DPF and still leaving it in there or something

I have had a regen done about a year ago through a mate who works at Peugeot but they could not clear it all out and said it really needs a new one.. Been fine untill a few weeks ago when the light came back on but has gone out again thank god..There about £1000 new hence why I want to get rid of the DPF lol

It also has that stupid fuel cleaner that when ever you open the fuel cap it squirts cleaner into the tank.. Does that get thrown out too?

Not sure on the fuel cleaner, Paul does all this, we write all our own files rather than buy them in, that way we can tailor the car how you want it, we can take the dpf out and leave you with no warning lights, the test transit we did for the courier company has gone from 24 mpg to 34 mpg (their figures not ours) but that is mapped specifically for ecomomy when driven by a trained chimp.
