Had to happen eventually! NIP Advice

Had to happen eventually! law of averages i guess, got my first NIP in the post today apparently doing 48 in a 40 on a local road where i know there is a camera pointing the opposite way to my direction of travel, but i seem to remember a small van parked next to it, and probably thought it was a maintenance van, as it didn't look like the normal transit type scamera van, plus i am pretty carefull anyway, (irony)

In any case i will be requesting photo/evidence, and the direction of travel, after all these years it looks like i will have points on my licence

A couple of questions for those in the know, alleged speeding offence is supposed to have taken place on devided two lane each side road/ dual carriageway, with a 40mph limit as its not a built up area, and there are no pavements or pedestrian access! the camera is on the opposite side, there are no calibrations on the road my side nor any warnings.

However like i said i think i remember a small unmarked van parked next to the camera, if this was a maned with a mobile camera, surly they should have been on the other side carriageway? as its divided by a barrier, can i ask for the evidence of how the photo was taken, as well as requesting a copy, before i return the form that i was driving at the alleged time it took place?
