dangerous brain Posted December 2, 2011 Share Posted December 2, 2011 I started driving with no prior experience on a Monday evening in November in the p*ssing rain for 2 lessons a day for that week and had 2 lessons on the Friday booked one of which was the test. GJD Posted December 3, 2011 Share Posted December 3, 2011 I think we must have both had the same examiner! He must have split his work between Plymouth and St Albans if we did . When you do six tests you do get to recognise some of the test centre staff. I think across all six tests I might have only had two or three different examiners. Guest melinamotor Posted December 3, 2011 Share Posted December 3, 2011 Passed first time after ten lessons, however I passed my bike test first so had accumulated enough road sense.The examiner (a woman) asked me to read the number plate on my own bike when we came out of the test centre but I was honest and said "its my bike". I also swore on my test when approaching the Stoke road roundabout in Guildford and she laughed telling me to turn left, phew! I also had a fire engine come hooning up behind and I had to mount the kerb, I think my luck was definately in that day. She asked me one question at the end of the test. mplavery Posted December 5, 2011 Share Posted December 5, 2011 Passed on my 3rd time 1st and 2nd time IMO I drove fine but it was things like not gaining enough speed quick enough So i failed and the instructors were both miserable ba****ds too 3rd time , the most happiest intructor got in, i drive like S**t and I passed......
