Lude Posted November 29, 2011 Share Posted November 29, 2011 just a thaught, i need to buff up my lights, and got some marks on mrs BMW, i have an angle grinder, can i just swap the cutting disc to a soft mop? or do you need a seperate machine with vairiable speeds etc, not sure if they are the same.... You will also need to be able to fit a flexible backing plate to attach the pad to, as opposed to the polishing 'bonnet' pictured above. Polishing machines designed for the job also generally have a soft start feature.
