hodge
Bit of a strange question this but can a steel clutch be swapped for a plates to hold more power. What I mean is, I currently have an ORC twin plate steel metal clutch think it's 709 model. Will it only be the plates that are different on a carbon ORC twin plate. If so, is it possible to upgrade the plates for carbon ones to hold more power. Or am I missing something as I'm not greatly clued up on clutches. JamieP
Rebuild kits are normally a good chunk towards a new clutch mate, if yours is in good working order it will most likely be better to sell it and buy another, i know jamesy is looking for a twin plate clutch.
