peter richards
saw the piers morgan interview a few weeks ago , sad to see the results of the booze , and i hope he stays off it . enjoy sheer class
ellis
Saw that as well. Real shame to see what happens when fame and fortune go pear shaped. I hope he stays off it too but he has the George Best look and sound about him. I actually felt sorry for him in the interview, he just could not handle the fame side and it overtook him. Bossco
Amazing clips. If I was picking an all time England team then he'd be the 1st name on my list. I think most people of my generation would agree.
Scott
Fantastic player, that selection of clips sums him up very well. One of the most charismatic football players I have ever seen, a true rare breed of player. It's such a shame to see him in the mess he is in now but all credit to him for fighting to get out of it, fingers crossed he stays on the wagon. I have very fond memories of him up with us at Rangers. Fantastic player for us and one of the best we have ever had. He still holds his time here very dear to him, he even paid a visit a few weeks back, and that's great to see.
Rob_Mitchell
AWESOME PLAYER. not many like him in todays game, similar to ginola. Alan Shearer is my all time hero, but im a toon supporter so bit biased
peter richards
in the piers interview he said something about his thought being 4-5 seconds before he had the ball, and in some of the clips you can see exactly that , his awareness in the centre of the park is amazing , and then the pace to run straight at the defence . st3ven1
Yeah, really enjoyed watching him play for the Gers. Think it was a cup game against a first division team, and Paul skinned one player twice, turned round to beat him again, the player got so annoyed he lashed out a tried to boot Gazza, Gazza dodged that and the player got sent off for it. Or when he ran half way across the pitch to give the ref his yellow card back, pretended to book the ref and ended up getting booked himself, classic. [video=youtube;anwgg--Ou-8] What a force Rangers used to be, Gazza and Laudrup: deal with that!
liam1
i was fortunate to watch him play from our reserves and up until he left for spurs, one of the best players i have had the pleasure to watch.
Bossco
I must say he didnt strike me as being off the drink/drugs for 11 months when doing that interview. There are other reason as to why he hit the drick which wernt mentioned by Piers Morgan...Not just loosing his England place that did it. Unfortunately that's what people sound like when they have wrecked their head with drink/drugs. It may sound like he's had a few but it's actually the permanent damage that has been done. Ozzy is a good public example of this.
