Scott
Looking good. If I wanted my consoles on the one "rig" it would need to be similar in size to the oil variety.

Gaz6002
Depends on the type of gaming surely? I wouldn't want a racing rig with less than three screens. Pointless IMO

The-Plethora
Found a few pics on my phone, guess I am just a bit old school The big rig upstairs, I play a few MMOs so need the extra screens Even in 2011 I think one of the best consoles you can buy is a chipped original XBox, I use it a lot more than my 360 to play arcade roms, snes, N64,megadrive stuff and spectrum games. A lot of people seem to chuck their XBox in the loft which is a shame as it has so much potential when hacked and actual XBox games can be had for peanuts. Josh
I played Goldeneye on a 42" plasma TV a while ago and it just shows how awful the graphics are. Lots of fun though

Gaz6002
Now that's a racing rig! Still crap. Anyone who drives a real car will tell you to be successful you really need to be able to look sideways.

The-Plethora
I don't think the tech is quite there for propper surround view gaming yet. Theres a guy at work who thinks AMDs eyefinity setup (game stretched accross 3 monitors) is amazing. To me it's like watching a big TV through a kitchen window with the bezels on the screens. a98pmalcolm
I played Goldeneye on a 42" plasma TV a while ago and it just shows how awful the graphics are. Lots of fun though Yer the N64's wont work to well with HD tvs, so you need to but an upscaler and it looks ok no pixelation
DamanC
Eyefinity works well for racing games although 3/4 screen setups have been around donkeys years with SLI/Crossfire. Nice setup Malcolm although I would do away with those silly fisher price things

Stan
For it to be truly accurate, you should have all the old school consoles and not just an emulator However, a good compromise would be using something like this: http://www.amazon.com/Retro-Classic-Controller-Nintendo-Entertainment-System/dp/B00281PFQI I had to get one as I couldn't run my NES through my TV, so although I'm using an emulator for the games, I still get the feel of the control pad
