dr_jekyll Posted November 21, 2011 Share Posted November 21, 2011 ive got a strange fault with my laptop. for some reason the "enter/down line" key is not performing it usual function. it just does the same as the right click button. i cant down to make a new paragraph or enter passwords . driving me mad. any possible ideas? You could also keep pressing the space bar until it goes down where you need it going. Strange what is does, have you tried disconnecting the laptop battery & live it out for 15 minutes or so & then reconnect again? Graham1984 Posted November 25, 2011 Share Posted November 25, 2011 Click the windows/start button on the bottom left and type in "keyboard" in the search programmes and files box and the keyboar options should be in there. You should be able to change the standard setup to a custom one but obviously you only want to change the enter key to something else so just use any key that you never use or alternatively if you have a separate number panel of 1-9 numbers to the right of your enter key and not the ones under F1-F12 you should have another enter key on their anyway.
